• Snowy River National Park has some of Victoria's most spectacular river scenery, magnificent gorges and forests make Snowy River an outstanding national park. The park covers an area of 95,290 ha, protecting Victoria's largest forest wilderness. In the north, the Bowen Range and Gelantipy Plateau dominate. Flowing south into the Snowy are the rugged water ways of Mountain Creek and the Rodger River. Vegetation in the park varies from dry rainshadow woodland to ancient forests and sub-alpine woodland. The rich fauna of the area reflects this diversity.
  
  
• Join a guided tour of the Royal and Fairy Caves to see spectacular limestone formations. ‘Wild Caving’ adventure tours in undeveloped Caves are a challenge.
  
  
• Buchan Caves reserve is but a 500 metre stroll. In the Park you may see Kangaroos, Wallabies and Koalas in their natural habitat and hear the bellbird’s metallic chorus.
  
  
• Spend an evening around your own cabin’s campfire after a BBQ.
  
  
• Visit Little River Falls & Gorge (deepest and most spectacular in Victoria), en route to McKillops Bridge.
  
  
• Experience the unique landscapes of the Alpine and Snowy River National Parks.
  
  
• Forest/Snowy River Scenic Drive - very popular half or full day trip. (96km)
  
  
• Choose from other activities : such as golfing at the local 9 Hole Course, Horse riding or Cycling to simply discovering the history of the area.
  
  
• Admire local artist’s work or visit Stonehenge Rock and Mineral Museum.
  
  
• Take a trip to Nowa Nowa and onto Orbost returning via Bete-Bolong along the fertile Snowy River Flats of East Gippsland.
  
  
• Fish local streams and rivers, Picnic or Swim at the junction of the Buchan and Snowy Rivers.
  
  
• Go bush walking along Walking tracks of varying length.
  
  
• Drive to nearby Ninety Mile Beach and beautiful Gippsland Lakes (only 45 minutes away).
